times scare
i was one block away when all that shit was going down in nyc saturday night. we were on W 44th between the same Avenues. had no idea what was going on, only that we had to scramble under police tape to get into our showing of American Idiot (which was AMAZING). upon leaving the show, we were instructed that we had no choice but to turn left out of the theater, heading away from Times Square. i was pretty convinced and very vocal about the fact that i was positive they were filming a movie and that’s why they shut all those blocks down. did not know the truth until this morning.
i brought my camera for this trip, but did not use it once. I will write more about the trip later. now it is time for strawberries and sugar cookies.
