and so it is…mikey and i will be returning to disney world this spring as part of the mikey’s family get-a-way. his brother works for the ellen show and she is taping some episodes at Universal Studios so we are all going to a taping and while down there, plan to stay at disney world and hit a couple of the parks. now, i wanted to hit Blizzard Beach since we didn’t get to go there a year and a half ago, but of course, it’s actually closing the day we get there for like maintenance or something. so instead i think we are going to hit the animal kingdom again and i forget what else mikey has scheduled for us.

we’re actually only going to be in D-world for like two days. the third day in orlando will be spent at universal studios with the taping of the show and roller coasters. then it’s on down to either his sisters house or his parents condo for the night a little further south. and then, well, i’m coming home the next day as i have to be back for class and work.

i’m excited to see (and maybe meet Ellen), but i think i’m more excited to spend time with his family as we don’t often get to do that.

in other news…mikey and i were walking around after a trip to the gym, enjoying the warmer weather and killing time until the maids left, when some ol’ queen passes by us and says “you two are an inspiration to us all”. not quite sure what he meant. i’m hoping it was a compliment and not just some crazy old fool answering one of the voices in his head.
