odds and ends and lil bits
i do hate to jump on bandwagons. but i have to say that i can not stop watching Susan Boyle on Britain’s Got Talent. it made the early rounds on the interwebs this weekend and then caught fire on monday and yesterday and she’s literally everywhere. hell, even the five o’clock local news mentioned this over night sensation. i’m going to see if i can embed the clip. hold please.
oh. they won’t let me. but you can click on her name and watch. get a tissue. it’s very moving. i don’t know what it is about Britain and homely-looking but extremely talented people. anyone remember Paul Potts from a few years ago?
so i can’t stop watching it and i just think it’s so nice and she seems like such a lovely woman–the anti-britney if you will.
in other random video news, i was like, watching tv last night and i saw this commercial for one of those sponsor a child things and laurie metcalf–of Roseanne fame–was in it and i swear to god, she looked awful. and sounded as if she was about to cry the entire commercial. let me see if i can find it. hold please.

well, so she looked awful and that’s really all i have to say about that. and of course those commercials are super sad and makes me want to pull an angelina jolie and adopt 18 beh-bies.

last night some one asked me what time the G2 or the…D2 (?) stopped running…
and i’m like, what’s that?
and he’s like, the bus.
and i say, i’m not familiar.
and he says, with the schedule?
and i say, with buses.
