i’m not usually one to exploit my neice and nephews here on the ol’ blog, in fact, i rarely post pictures of myself–which is sort of a lie–but i think it’s time i start. so i’ve started with the newest member of our family. Ryder. yes. i didn’t pick the name. and i like this picture because he looks like a little puppy and i’m tempted to caption it and put it on one of those lolpups websites. maybe something like “oh hai, can you press da shnooze butt’n for meh?”

and seriously, this was like the least retarded picture my sister has sent me. seriously. like way. in all the pictures, his arms are straight up over his head and he’s asleep. i think i’ve seen his eyeballs just once and that was like the day after he was born. for all i know, they’ve rolled up into his head never to be seen again. and everytime he falls down as a toddler, his eyeballs will roll around in his skull. my sister says that’s just the way he sleeps, with his arms straight up over his head, and i imagine, he’s either dreaming about getting arrested and some corrupt tumbleweed sherrif is yellin’ “stick’em up!” or that he’s a twelve year old romanian gymnast who just nailed the perfect landing on a perfect trip over the vault.

i wonder if you push them down to his sides if they will just spring back up again.

i caught the premier of project runway and i’m already annoyed with the contestants. even i knew to NOT get anything at the grocery store that might resemble fabric…like garbage bags (although i will say that i designed an amazing gown out of a garbage bag one slow night at the bar for Brett). and here’s my rundown of the most annoying so far:

that tanorexic forest creature looking guy. this is what i hope happens to him:

suede. really?

that black guy who claims to be a model. really? where? in uglypeople country?

stella. although i kind of like her because of her accent and because i think she is what cher would look like without the height and the plastic surgery and the fame.
