loathing it and loving it this week
totally loathing the high heel race. an over twenty year old tradition on 17th st has turned into a gay circus for thousands of straight girls to laugh at the gay clowns. no wonder locals tend to avoid 17th st. that night. put a couple ounces of alcohol in those girls and they become the most annoying people on the planet. what used to be a night of sequins, stilettos and some tragically scary wigs has become girls night out. and not in the fun gender ambiguously way.
totally loving to hate on the season finale of Greek. cliffhanger much? good god, frannie stealing half the ZBZs to start her own sorority? that bitch! Max maybe calling to turn down his acceptance to Caltech so he can stay at Cyprus Rhodes with Casey Cartwright? i know Cappie and Casey are destined for each other, but I kind of like Max more. Which sorority will Rebecca Logan choose? Will she stay with the good girls of ZBZ or will she jump ship with the bad girls of OmegaBitchFrannie? only time will tell and the new season can not come soon enough.
i’m going to be a bit of hater and complain about Pink’s new album Funhouse. while deeply emotional and revealing, save for So What, it’s not a very fun album. can something be boring but good at the same time? yes, it’s called Good Will Hunting.
but music that i am grooving to right now: Lady GaGa’s new album The Fame, particularly Poker Face, Eh Eh (Nothing else i can say), Paparazzi, and Boys Boys Boys.
also, musically, i’m really into these songs by Jazmine Sullivan: Switch, Bust Your Windows, and One Night Stand.
i’m kind of mad at the gym lately. i think i’m going to take off this week. well, i went on monday, but i think i’ll take the rest of the week off. there’s this guy there all the time who looks like cuba gooding jr and i kind of hate him. he’s always interrupting my workout to let me know he’s using that piece of equipment, but i just say “look, cuba, actually you’re over there using that. and that over there. give it a rest, Radio.”
