yea, yea, i’m 31 today.  cool it.  it’s not a big deal.  i’m spending it by alternating between brawls on my new Smash Bros. game for the wii (yes, i’m officially a gaming nerd.  a gaymer, if you will) where you basically just beat the shit out of iconic nintendo characters and my tivo’d copy of Mannequin.  yes.  that one.  with Kim Cattral.  about the mannequin that comes to life.  and Hollywood played by Mesach Taylor.

ps.   a while back i wrote about my neighbor across the hall who may have killed the paraplegic who also lives on my floor and who may be out to get me too…well, i saw the paraplegic coming out of his apartment the other day so, sigh of relief, he’s not dead.  although, he doesn’t look like the paraplegic who i met coming out of the same apartment five years ago.  perhaps the killer has just switched them out so as not to cause suspicion.  seriously, it could be a whole different guy.  but i’m not sure.  not entirely.  i try to not pay too much attention to the handicapped.

pps  oh and then, when i ran into the paraplegic across the hall, we were both obviously headed for the elevator, so i pushed the down button, the car arrived, i got in…and he didn’t.  it’s not like there wasn’t room!  i’m big but not that big.  and he said, ‘oh, i’ll take the next one’.  and i was like, uh, snob much?  what?  suddenly you’re too good to ride in the elevator with me?
